New client: Asian Media Group (AMG)
Brief - To create a new contemporary logo for global media conglomerate Asian Media Group (AMG). Housing a number of exciting and diverse media brands, the brand is strong, respected and well known to the communities that it serves.
Execution - We designed the logo letterforms to reflect the company’s legacy of solidity and stability, which would at the same time be appealing to a contemporary audience.
The triangular forms of the letters, in particular, the A and M, represent the pinnacle of success, strength and growth. The G is also created from similar modular forms and is inherently more playful and diverse in shape. This reflects the diverse but united nature of the brand, connecting communities and businesses across the globe through its media assets.
We have represented this connectivity visually through the three overlapping elements of the logo which demonstrate the singular essence that runs through all the various facets of the brand, connecting different communities and groups.
We chose three different bright and bold colours to represent the vibrancy of the company, its multi-faceted nature and diversity of services and businesses, both in print and digital media. True to the brand ethos, the logo embraces the richness and plurality of colours. Red is for energy, yellow stands for optimism and the turquoise says reliability.
